Osmania turns tense once again

A tense situation was witnessed at Osmania University when a group of 10-15 students climbed out onto the second floor balcony of the Arts College Building, threatening to commit suicide by jumping off from there.

Students pursuing their second Post Graduation courses were denied accommodation by the administration and as a protest, the students took to this step.

The administration alerted the Police and the officials were quick to respond. The students were taken into custody with assistance from the local Fire Department.
