Oriental Bank employees stage dharna at Viceroy Hotel MD's house

Hyderabad: To recover the huge outstanding loans from managing director of Viceroy Hotel Prabhakar Reddy, the employees of the Oriental Bank of Commerce staged a protest outside his residence on Tuesday. They demanded that Prabhakar Reddy repay the crores of rupees worth of loans he had secured from the bank.

On Saturday, Punjab National Bank employees also staged a silent protest in front of ex-MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao's Office in Abids in Hyderabad. The bank's staff said the ex- MP had taken a loan of Rs. 160 crore from the bank in the name of Progressive Constructions Ltd and has not repaid the same.
