Even as the tug-of-war between V K Sasikala and caretaker Chief Minister O Panneerselvam continues with a lot twists and turns, today is likely to be a yet another eventful day for both the camps.

Here are the top five developments:

· Panneerselvam to visit the Secretariat around noon. There is heavy deployment of police personnel in the area.

· On Sunday five Lok Sabha members and one Rajya Sabha member joined Mr. Panneerselvam’s faction, taking the number of MPs supporting his cause to 10.

· The caretaker CM dared Sasikala to let the legislators return to their constituencies. "Even today, a few of the MLAs contacted me. They told me that there are four goondas guarding each MLA. They are surrounded and tortured. They cannot get out," he said while addressing reporters at his residence, moments after Sasikala's press conference and her televised speech to party MLAs staying at Golden Bay Resorts near Mahabalipuram. "Instead of shedding crocodile tears and claiming that they are free, she should let them go back to their homes," he said.

· Sasikala’s supporters from across the State are streaming in to Poes Garden wearing breast badges with photos of both Sasikala and Jayalalithaa.

· Panneerselvam’s house is also witnessing a heavy turnout of supporters today in comparison to past few days.
