Objectionable comments against women: 2 held

The cybercrime wing of the police arrested two people on Tuesday, on the charge of posting derogatory remarks against women on a social networking site.

TLB Subramaniam and Krishna Mohan, working in software companies here were held by the cybercrime police attached to the Central Crime Station (CCS), after the duo allegedly posted objectionable and derogatory comments against women in general, police said.
A complaint was lodged by some members of different women organisations, regarding the posting of objectionable and derogatory comments, after which the CCS cyber police station booked a case under relevant sections of the IT Act. Investigators traced the duo to a location here and arrested them today, the police said, adding that further investigations are underway.
