Now, offer prayers at Sonia Gandhi temple in Karimnagar
Congress leaders of Karimnagar district have taken their devotion to Congress chairman Sonia Gandhi to new level.
After having a statute in her name, Sonia Gandhi will now have a temple in her name as well in Mallial mandal headquarters of Karimngar district.
Expressing their gratitude to Sonia Gandhi for helping create Telangana, former Mandal Parishad president Daram Adi Reddy and other Congress leaders have built a temple for Sonia.
They collected the donations from public and spent a sum of Rs 2.50 lakh for the construction of the temple.
The Temple has an idol of Sonia Gandhi which was brought from Jaipur in Rajasthan, a picture of her husband Rajiv Gandhi, on and either side of the temple there are paintings of Indira Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.The temple was opened by Jagtial MLA T Jeevan Reddy in the presence of Prabhakar and former MLA Suddala Devaiah.
