Notification in Seemandhra region on April 12 : Bhanwar Lal

State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said that the notification for assembly and parliamentary seats in Seemandhra region would be issued on April 12.

Speaking to the reporters in secretariat in Hyderabad on Wednesday, he said, “We will provide all basic facilities at all the polling stations in the state. Tents will also be arranged at these stations.”

He said that voters could cast their votes by showing any identity card listed in the website.

He said that polling would be conducted from 7 am to 6 pm on May 7.

The official said, “An amount of Rs. 90 crores was recovered in the checkings conducted in the state so far.”

He said that strict action would be taken against government officials who were found campaigning on behalf of any party.
