Not the right time to celebrate, says KCR

Hyderabad: Keeping in mind the floods in Chennai and several other places, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao said that it is not the right time to organize and celebrate IIFA awards- scheduled to kick off on Friday.

International Indian Film Academy ( IIFA) was earlier limited only to Bollywood and it has forayed into South for the first time this year, the event was slated to begin on Friday.

However, the CM has announced that the event will be postponed to January. He has also called out to South film-stars saying they should all contribute and stand-by floods victims.
