Northeast Student Forced To Lick House Owner’s Shoes  

Bengaluru: A student from Arunachal Pradesh has been beaten up and forced to lick his house owner's shoes for using excessive water. The victim identified as Higio Guntey is a student of Christ University in Bengaluru, in fourth-semester of his BTech.

“Used water for five minutes, apologized to owner for same. He started beating me and humiliated me by forcing me to lick his boots,” said the student.

The incident took place on March 6 and the house owner Hemanth Kumar surrendered to the police. However, the accused is out on bail on Monday

Meanwhile, victim’s father said that he has pinned hopes on police adding that the culprit won’t be spared and justice will prevail.

The incident has left Northeast community in the metropolis furious and termed it as a racial attack.
