No water supply on August 2 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad:  The officials of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) announced a 24-hour shutdown for water supply in the city on Tuesday.

With the maintenance of Ringmain-1 pipeline works in a part of Krishna Phase-3 of drinking water supply to the city, Water Board officials said in a statement, that water supply will be off from 6:00am of August 2 to 6 am ofAugust 3.

The officials said many areas in Hitec City, Kondapur, Madhapur, Jubilee Hills, Begumpet and Kukatpally areas will be affected due to the maintenance works of the pipeline which brings water to these areas.

The affected areas include Balapur, Rajiv Gruhakalpa, Almasguda, ARCI, Mailardevpally, Madhuban, PDP, Rajendranagar, Hyderaguda, Kishanbhag, Sulemannagar, Athapur, Allabanda, Red Hills, Secretariat, Mehadipatnam Kakatiyanagar, Vijaya Nagar, Prashasannagar, Journalist Colony, Filmnagar, Lingampally, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Hafeezpet, KPHB Colony, Borabanda, Gayatrinagar, Allapur and Rama Rao Nagar.

Water Board officials have advised consumers to use water prudently to avoid inconvenience.
