No transfer orders yet: CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana
CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana has clarified that he had not received any transfer orders so far.
He also told the media that he came to know about his transfer only through them. CBI was a strong system and will not work at anybody's behest, he added.
If the court permits, he would take Sabita Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao into custody for investigation, he said.
Recent reports suggested that Lakshmi Narayana will soon join his home cadre in Maharashtra. Lakshmi Narayana's responsibility was handed over to Chennai CBI Joint Director Arunachalam.
