No traffic on NTR Marg, Necklace Road on New Year's eve

In order to facilitate proper regulation of traffic on New Year's eve, the city traffic police has imposed some restrictions on various roads and decided to close all fly-overs.

According to City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma, several restrictions have been imposed for the vehicular traffic around the Hussain Sagar Lake.
Vehicular traffic will not be allowed on the NTR Marg, Necklace Road and Upper Tankbund from 10 pm to 2 am on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Therefore, the vehicular traffic coming towards these routes will be diverted to alternate routes.
Police will conduct checks to curb drunken and rash driving, over speeding and other traffic violations.
