No quid pro quo in issuing 26 GOs, ministers tell court
The Cabinet ministers have given a clean chit to YS Jaganmohan Reddy by notifying that all the 26 GOs that were issued were in accordance with the business rules and secretariat instructions and also in accordance with the decisions taken by the entire Cabinet.
There was nothing wrong done in issuing the 26 GOs.
The ministers made it clear in their counter petitions filed in the Supreme Court that there was no wrongdoing in issuing 26 GOs favouring companies that had invested in Jagan's firms.
All the GOs they had issued during late YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s regime, were in the best interests of the state and to promote industrial development, the ministers said in court.
The ministers maintained that there is no question of quid pro quo in favour of Jaganmohan Reddy.
