No Objectionable Scenes in Manikarnika: Rajamouli’s Father

After Padmaavat, it seems to be the turn of "Manikarnika" to face allegations of objectionable content. A religious fringe outfit claimed that the film "Manikarnika" contains objectionable scenes that are different from historical facts. However, denying the statements is the film's writer and Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad who stated that he did not write anything objectionable in the storyline. He also claimed that he has a great respect for the queen of Jhansi, his favourite woman leader.

Kangana Ranaut plays the title role in the movie. It is being directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain.
