No alliance in 2014 polls, says KCR

TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Friday announced that his party would go to polls alone without any alliance with any party in the next elections.

Declaring the decisions of the TRS polit buro meeting, KCR said the target of the TRS was to achieve Telangana State. He said TRS election committee has been constituted and it would function with immediate effect under the leadership of Nayini Narasimha Reddy. 

The members of the committee include Eetela Rajender, Capt Lakshmikantha Rao, Mohammed Ali and others. The election committee would find out the candidates for next polls and submit a report to the party. The party would take a final decision after scrutiny of candidates. KCR said the candidates would be announced by the end of May.  

The TRS chief said TRS representatives' meeting would be organised at Armoor on April 27. He reiterated that the TRS would work Telangana statehood as its goal.
