Nityananda Reddy kidnap case: Lifer for Constable Obulesu
Hyderabad: Nampally court has given a judgment in the Aurobindo pharmacy Vice- Chairman Nityananda Reddy kidnap case. Life imprisonment was handed out to the accused AR constable Obulesu. The pharma company vice-president was attacked with an AK-47 rifle while getting into his car after his morning walk at the KBR Park in Banjara Hills. This incident took place on 14 November last year.
The gunman fled the scene after Nityanand Reddy opened fire with his licensed revolver, in order to safeguard himself. He also reported this issue with the police. Probing into the issue, the police found out that the Ak-47 rifle found at the shootout scene belonged to the Grey-hound constable Obulesu.
The court gave the hearing on the case as Obulesu has admitted to the crime and a life imprisonment was imposed on him.
