Trisha Overtakes Nayanthara: Deets Inside

The remuneration of stars is always a guessing game in showbiz. The paycheck of actresses is often lower compared to that of male actors. The gorgeous beauty Nayanthara was the first southern Indian actress to charge Rs 1 crore per movie.

She now demands Rs 10 crore, especially for women-centric movies. For regular commercial outings, she demands Rs 8 crore.

Now, Trisha is set to compete with her. She is returning to Tollywood with Chiranjeevi's fantasy action entertainer Vishwambara and is demanding Rs 12 crore as her remuneration for the movie. The makers have agreed to her price. Trisha's remuneration sets a new record, surpassing Nayanthara's by a decent margin.

Vishwambara is directed by Vassishta. The pan-Indian movie is financed by UV Creations.
