Sai Dharam Tej Gets Legal Notice in Bike Accident Case

Tollywood hero Sai Dharam Tej received a legal notice for not submitting required documents in a case related to a bike accident that took place at Durgam Cheruvu in September. The Cyberabad police said that a case was registered against him under Section 912 of the CrPC.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra said that Sai Dharam Tej was asked to submit his documents, including his driving license, registration certificate, insurance, and pollution papers. He further stated that "As he had failed to submit the said documents, a legal notice was sent to him. If we do not get any response from the actor for the notice, a charge sheet will be filed."

Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident on September 10, while he was riding his sports bike in Madhapur. Based on the CCTV footage, it is found that the bike skidded on the road and he was dragged along for a few metres. He suffered soft tissue injuries and a collarbone fracture. He escaped any major head injuries as he was wearing a helmet. Now, the actor is doing well.

According to the reports, he had purchased the bike from one Bura Anil Kumar, a resident of LB Nagar, and has not registered the bike in his name till now. A few days ago, an e-challan for a penalty of Rs 1,135 was issued on the bike at Madhapur for over-speeding at 87 kmph on a road with a permissible maximum speed limit of 40 kmph.
