Youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda is lying low after his recent outing Liger turned out to be the biggest flop in his career. Deverakonda's Liger failed to create magic at the box office despite much hype. It is not uncommon for an actor to face failures in his career. Hits and flops are part of the game in movies as it is hard to predict which film the audience will love or which ones they would reject.

Vijay Deverakonda seems to have moved on as he was spotted at a Gym soon after Liger's failure at the box office.

Liger was directed by Puri Jagannadh. If you recall, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jaggannadh were supposed to work together in another movie—Jana Gana Mana. The makers had also officially announced the film and they also shot a helicopter action scene.

However, after Liger's failure, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jaggannadh have decided to officially call off the film. Deverakonda's Jana Gana Mana is now officially shelved, as per sources. The film producers are said to have lost anywhere between Rs 7 and Rs 8 crores because of the helicopter action episode. Jana Gana Mana Producers are left with no choice but to bear losses incurred due to Jana Gana Mana. The result of Liger has caused huge damage to Deverakonda, Puri Jagannadh and Jana Gana Mana producers.

On the work front, Deverakonda will soon be seen in Kushi. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana of Majili fame and stars Samantha Prabhu. The film is due to release in theatres around Christmas this year.
