ED Raids Puri Jagannadh, Charme Over Liger Issue

Looks like there is no peace as yet for Puri Jagannadh. The director has been troubled by some distributors of Liger. So much so, he even requested the Telangana Police to give protection to his family. He fears that there is a threat to him and his family from a distributor and a financier. And now, a new problem has cropped up.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is noted for handling high-profile cases, on Thursday grilled him and producer Charmi Kaur.
A politically influential person is alleged to have invested black money in Liger. Puri and Charmme were questioned by ED officials for hours over suspected violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.
