What's KCR Agenda For Delhi Visit?
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao is expected to leave for Delhi as a part of his three-day trip to attend a meeting. According to the reports, he would call on a few Union Ministers to discuss issues related to the state.
According to a statement from CM Office, CM KCR will participate in the Assembly session beginning on Friday, and will also attend the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, before leaving for Delhi.
It is said that he is going to meet Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and would discuss Krishna, Godavari water issues. KCR will take part in a meeting where Amit Shah would discuss with the Chief Ministers of Maoist affected states and reviews security and development issues.
KCR will also meet Union Food and Civil supplies minister Piyush Goyal and would discuss the purchase of grains. He would return to Hyderabad on Sunday evening. The government of Telangana is concerned over the centre's helplessness over the purchase of rice and it is affecting the cultivation of paddy. KCR is likely to explain to Piyush Goyal how it is affecting the millers and farmers if the centre is not willing to purchase paddy.
In the first week of September KCR went to Delhi to lay the foundation stone for the construction of the TRS party office in Delhi. He met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to represent various issues related to the state. He was in Delhi for nine days and this is the second time, KCR is going to Delhi.
