Viveka Murder Case: Avinash Reddy Writes to CBI Seeking More Time to Appear Before it

 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: MP YS Avinash Reddy has written a letter to the CBI, which is probing the Viveka murder case, seeking more time to appear before it citing his mother’s health. The central agency had issued fresh summons to the Lok Sabha member and asked him to appear before it at its Hyderabad office on May 22, Monday.

In his letter, Avinash Reddy wrote to the probe agency that “he would come to the CBI as soon as his mother recovers”. Avinash’s mother has been admitted to a private hospital in Kurnool. The doctors have advised cardiac surgery for her and the Lok Sabha member has communicated to the central agency that he is needed to be at her side for surgery.

This year, Avinash Reddy has appeared before the CBI team for five times. He has moved the Telangana High Court with anticipatory bail petition.
