Hyderabad: Moments after the winner and runner-up of Bigg Boss Telugu season 7 (BBT7) were declared, the fans of TV reality show indulged in vandalism by damaging 6 RTC buses in Jubilee Hills locality of Hyderabad on Sunday night.

Fans of the Bigg Boss Telugu show had thronged to the sets of BBT7 grand finale at Annapurna Studios in Jubilee Hills. When the show host and ace actor Nagarjuna announced ‘common man’ entrant Pallavi Prashanth as the Bigg Boss winner, the fans of Pallavi went on a rampage and started attacking the car of runner-up Amardeep. Later, they started vandalising the public transport.

Taking cognizance of the issue, the TSRTC officials have lodged a complaint against the troublemakers at the Jubilee Hills police station. Meanwhile, the RTC MD VC Sajjanar has reacted sharply to the incident.

“Attacking the RTC buses which transport people to their destinations safely is an attack on society. TSRTC management will not turn a blind eye to this hooliganism. RTC buses are public property and it is our responsibility to protect them,” Sajjanar wrote in his X post while sharing the pics of damaged buses.
