TMC MP Mahua Moitra Is All Praises For Telangana's Pochampally Saree
Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra is all praises for Indian handlooms. She took to her Twitter and shared a picture in which one could see her wearing a Pochampalli cotton saree from Telangana. She said that the saree was gifted to her on a recent IT committee tour by Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao. She wrote, "Indian Handlooms rock – wearing the most beautiful Pochampally cotton saree from Telangana gifted to me on recent IT committee tour by KTR." Here is the tweet made by Mahua.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology visited Hyderabad last week. The committee members include Shashi Tharoor, Jayadev Galla, Karti P. Chidambaram, Tejasvi Surya, Mahua Moitra, Chandan Singh, and G. Ranjith Reddy.
KTR had specifically instructed the officials to present a gift hamper containing Telangana handicrafts and handlooms. The gift hamper was presented by KTR to 25 MPs and it included Karachi Biscuits, Pochampally Shawls for men and sarees for women, Kakatiya Thoranam.
