Telangana Schools Reopening in Phases: The medical health department has given the go-ahead to operate educational institutions in Telangana because coronavirus cases are on the decline. In this context, the Department of Education aims to open schools and institutions across the state on September 1st. Before reaching a decision, the Chief Minister will consult with the cabinet about direct teaching at educational institutions. Students in the eighth, ninth, and tenth grades, as well as inter, degree, and other institutions, will be able to attend schools and colleges in the first phase. Later on, the lower classes will be introduced.
Many states launched live classes in the first week of August. With the reduction of corona cases in the state, UNICEF, the Parliamentary Standing Committee, the Indian Council of Medical Research, and others have suggested that educational institutes be opened. The state medical health department has also suggested to the government that schools be reopened.
On September 1st, the Department of Education plans to begin direct instruction in this order. The administration intends to finish the first year intermediate examinations (currently the second year Inter) in 15 days. Sabita Indrareddy, the Minister of Education, will meet with Chief Minister KCR soon to discuss live classes. The government will most likely announce the date later this week, according to credible sources.
