Telangana Minister’s Photo of Holding Liquor Bottle Goes Viral, Malla Reddy Responds

Hyderabad: A photo of Telangana Minister Malla Reddy sitting with people who were having drinks is doing rounds on social media. On Sunday, the Minister of Labour and Employment Malla Reddy conducted a door-to-door campaign for TRS candidate K Prabhakar Reddy in Munugode constituency which is scheduled for a bypoll in the first week of November. 

The TRS leader is the election in-charge of Aregudem village in Choutuppal mandal. As per reports, before returning to Hyderabad, Malla Reddy stopped at some place in Choutuppal and spent some time with his followers and relatives at a drinking session. 

Responding to the viral photo issue, the TRS minister said he was serving liquor to a family member and clarified that he did not drink. Malla Reddy said some people are deliberately sharing the photo in which he was shown holding a liquor bottle. The TRS leader said he was at a relative’s place who were having drinks and criticised the opposition for politicising a non-issue.
