Telangana Guv Rubbishes Reports of Contesting 2024 Lok Sabha Polls
Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has put an end to speculations that she was keen on contesting the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections as a BJP candidate. The Telangana Governor also rubbished the reports that she conveyed her intention to the BJP leadership.
Earlier in the day, Tamilisai Soundararajan visited the Anuradha Timber Depot in Bowenpally where the doors of the Ayodhya Ram Temple are being made. While speaking to media persons, the Governor rejected the claims of contesting upcoming general elections from Thoothukudi parliamentary constituency.
Soundararajan said there is no truth in the news reports coming in a section of the media and she had no such plans to contest the elections. She also dismissed the speculations of her resigning from the post of governorship.
