Telangana Cabinet Likely To Issue Orders On PRC

The Telangana Cabinet is likely to take a decision on the issue of lifting the lockdown in the State. Experts opine that the government will grant more exemptions while continuing the lockdown and imposing a night curfew.

As per the sources, it is learned that there is a possibility of making a statement regarding the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) of Telangana employees. The Finance Ministry has already submitted a full report on the pay revision details. The Cabinet will approve the pay revision report of the employees today on Tuesday.

During the Assembly meeting conducted in March, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) announced a 30 per cent fitment to government employees and teachers in Telangana. The government will issue orders on employee fitness and other issues after today's meeting.

The government officials said that the 30 per cent fitment orders would come into effect from April 1, 2021. However, the decision was kept on hold due to the lockdown in view of the second wave of Coronavirus.
