Swapnalok Complex Fire Accident: CM KCR Announces 5 Lakhs Ex-gratia to Kin

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrahekhar Rao announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakhs to the families of the deceased in Secunderabad’s SwapnaLok complex fire accident. Six people died after a fire broke out at the complex on late Thursday. The deceased were all youngsters aged between 22 to 25.

As per reports, the fire started around 6:30 pm on Thursday evening in the eight-storied complex which is more than a 40-year-old structure that houses 250 private offices, shops, and commercial establishments. More than 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire which was brought under control by midnight on Thursday.
