Revanth Reddy Warns of Action Against Sale of Praja Palana Forms

 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his displeasure following the complaints that application forms for the Congress government’s Praja Palana initiative were being sold by some people in the state. Earlier in the day, the chief minister held a review meeting with the chief secretary Santhi Kumari and other high-ranking officials to check the progress of the Praja Palana programme.

The chief minister reviewed the submitted applications through the Praja Palana programme. He warned the people to desist from selling the freely available Praja Palana applications. He also instructed the officials to ensure all applicants receive the applications.

In an attempt to clarify the doubts surrounding the government’s welfare schemes, Revanth Reddy said the existing beneficiaries of Rythu Bandhu and Pension schemes will continue to receive the benefits and these applications are only for the eligible beneficiaries who wish to avail the government scheme benefits.

“Make sure there are enough applications for the applicants to apply for the scheme and also make available as many applications as possible to the people,” Revanth told officials.

The chief minister has also instructed the officials including District Collectors to ease the process of submission of applications. They have also been directed to take stringent action against those who are found selling applications.
