National Medical Council Cancels Admissions in BJP MP Sujana-owned Medical College

Hyderabad: The National Medical Council (NMC) on Tuesday cancelled admissions into the undergraduate courses in a private medical college owned by the BJP MP Sujana Chowdary. The medical council has also revoked the license of the medical college located in Ghanpur of Telangana. 

The MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghanpur is owned by Sujana Chowdary and it was affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. 

The cancellation order issued by the NMC stated that admissions into the MBBS course in MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences college have been cancelled for the academic year 2023-24.
