 - Sakshi Post

Khammam: Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the CLP leader of Telangana Congress said he embarked on a 100-day people’s march in the state drawing inspiration from people’s leader and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Soon after filing his nomination papers for Madhira-SC seat, Vikramarka told reporters here that he took inspiration from people’s leader Dr YSR and undertook the extraordinary journey covering 29 assembly segments to know and understand the problems of Telangana people.

He accused the ruling BRS government of looting the state exchequer and said if voted to power the Congress government would restore the public coffers. He exuded confidence that the Congress party would wrest power from the BRS in the November 30 polls.

Vikramarka also said the Telangana Congress would fulfill its six guarantees announced by Sonia Gandhi ahead of state elections. Targetting the BRS regime over the reports of damage to Medigadda barrage, he said Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam project, which were constructed by the previous Congress government, are still standing tall.
