MLC Elections 2023: 3 BRS Candidates Win Unopposed Under MLA Quota
HYDERABAD: All three candidates of the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) have been elected unopposed to the Telangana Legislative Council under the MLAs quota. Kurmaiahgari Naveen Kumar, Deshapathi Srinivas & Challa Venkatarami Reddy were elected, as no other candidate was in the fray.
Naveen Kumar has been elected to the upper house of the Telangana state legislature for a second term, while other two candidates have been elected to the upper house for the first time. Srinivas was earlier working as Officer on Special Duty in the Chief Minister’s Office and Venkatarami Reddy is a former MLA.
Having been elected unanimously for 3 MLC seats under the MLAs quota, Kurmaiahgari Naveen Kumar, Deshapathi Srinivas & Challa Venkatarami Reddy paid a courtesy visit to CM KCR at Pragati Bhavan. BRS Party President & CM KCR extended greetings to the newly elected MLCs.

Meanwhile, BJP- backed AVN Reddy won the Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Teachers Constituency by over 13 thousand vote value by eliminating 20 other candidates.
