KTR Fires on Revanth Reddy

 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Raising the issue of Telangana farmers who suffered losses due to unseasonal rains, former minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) claimed the Revanth Reddy government does not care about the farmers but is ready to do politics 24x7.

Crops were destroyed during the recent spell of unseasonal rain and hailstorm that hit parts of Telangana including Adilabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet and Rangareddy district.

The crop loss has left many farmers in distraught as their crops of maize, paddy and sorghum were ready for harvest but got damaged due to the rains.

Taking to X, KTR said why the Congress government looks down on the farmers. Why the chief minister Revanth Reddy cannot see the tears of poor and distressed farmers whose hard work went in vain due to untimely rains, he asked.

In a lengthy post written in Telugu, the BRS leader remarked the Congress-led government has no compassion for the farmers and is busy in engineering defections from opposition parties. He also wrote that the Congress leaders should stop making rounds of high command and spare some time to listen to the problems of farmers.
