Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy Made BJP’s National Executive Member

Hyderabad: Pulling the plug on possible defections, the BJP made former Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy a member of the party’s national executive. The announcement came a day after the saffron party appointed senior party leader G Kishan Reddy as the president of Telangana BJP unit who replaced Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
The appointment was announced by BJP national general secretary Arun Singh.Komatireddy was reportedly sulking as the BJP central leadership did not consider his name for any position in the party. He had resigned from Munugode constituency as an MLA and joined the saffron camp.
After the decimation of BJP in Karnataka elections, Congress is upbeat and claimed it is making strategies to repeat the electoral success in Telangana too. The political temperature is steadily rising in Telangana with Congress sounding a poll bugle in the state. Meanwhile, the BJP is watching the political developments and making organisational changes accordingly.
