Gajwel: BRS chief and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will file his nomination papers for two assembly segments on Thursday, November 9. The chief minister will file nominations in Gajwel and Kamareddy assembly constituencies for the November 30 polls. The last date to file nominations is November 10.

KCR will leave for Konaipally in Siddipet where he will offer prayers at a local temple. The chief minister has been visiting this temple since 1985 before filing his nominations. He will then go to the municipal office here to file his nomination papers at 11 am on Thursday.

Later, the BRS president will head to Kamareddy town to file his nomination papers at 2 pm. After this, KCR is expected to address a public meeting at Kamareddy.

Earlier this week, Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy filed his nomination from Kodangal assembly seat. He is also contesting the election against the chief minister KCR from Kamareddy constituency.  Speaking on the occasion, Revanth targetted the ruling BRS for allegedly discriminating against Kamareddy and not developing it on par with Sircilla (KTR constituency), Siddipet (T Harish Rao constituency) and Gajwel (KCR constituency).
