Kavitha’s First Reaction on Karnataka Obscene Video Case
New Delhi: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who is currently in judicial custody in the Delhi excise policy case, has commented on the Karnataka obscene video case. She said people like Prajwal Revanna, who is involved in an obscene video scandal in the neighbouring state, is spared while people like her are arrested.
Prajwal Revanna is the grandson of former Prime Minister Deve Gowda and JD(S) sitting MP and candidate from Karnataka's Hassan Lok Sabha constituency. Around 3,000 explicit videos showing multiple instances of sexual assault involving 1,000 women from Karnataka were widely being circulated on social media. Prajwal is reportedly spotted in Budapest, Hungary and a team of SIT is coordinating with the CBI to arrest him.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court denied regular bail to the BRS leader noting the gravity and seriousness of the offence, nature of the allegations against her, and the offences invoked in the case. She will remain in judicial custody till May 7.
