Kavitha Arrested in Delhi Liquor Case by ED, To Be Shifted To Delhi

In a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate has reportedly arrested BRS MLC and KCR's daughter, Kalvakunta Kavitha, in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case. About 10 ED officials arrived in Hyderabad and raided Kavitha's house. The ED sleuths have also served an arrest notice to Kavitha. It is reported that Kavitha was arrested. The officials have seized Kavitha and her personal assistant's mobile phones. The ED is likely to shift Kavitha to New Delhi.

Learning about the news, BRS leaders gathered in large numbers outside Kavitha's residence in Banjara Hills in support of her. The leaders and party workers raised slogans against PM Narendra Modi and the BJP accusing them of the politically motivated arrest.
