Karimnagar Cable Bridge to be Thrown Open to Public Tomorrow

Karimnagar Cable Bridge will be thrown open to the public tomorrow. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the cable-stayed bridge on Wednesday evening.
The 500-metre long cable-stayed bridge is constructed across the river Manair on the outskirts of Karimnagar town. The construction work on the bridge was started in February 2018 with an estimated cost of Rs 183 crore, however, the costs escalated to Rs 224 crore.
The approach roads have also been constructed to regulate the traffic on the bridge. In addition to this, a dynamic lightning system, with an expenditure of Rs 8 crore, has been arranged to convert this into a famous tourist attraction in the district.
