Justice For Chaitra Is Trending On Twitter, Celebs Tweets

A six-year-old girl in Saiabad was raped and arrested on September 9th. The grievous incident led to a huge outrage among the public and they are carrying out protests across the state demanding justice. Police are in the hot pursuit of the prime suspect who is absconding after the incident.

The Hyderabad City Police on Tuesday has announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh to anyone who can provide information about Pallakonda Raju who is the accused in the rape and murder of the case. 

Many celebs are tweeting about the Saidabad incident and are expressing grief over the incident. The hashtag #JusticeForChaitra is trending on Twitter. But, disclosing the identity of the victims in heinous crimes is described as an offence as per the laws, guidelines, and  Supreme Court Orders issued (in 2018 in case, Nipun Saxena & Ors. vs Union of India) to strictly not publish the details of the victims of rape as restricted u/s 228A of the IPC and upheld by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
