IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Telangana: Rainfall Likely in These Districts
Weather Alert: Hyderabad received moderate rainfall in the early hours of Friday as a result of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. Hyderabad's India Meteorological Department has issued a two-day yellow alert in Hyderabad and many other districts. Several areas across the city including Saroornagar, Hayathnagar, Uppal, and Bahadurpura received light rains of up to 2.8 mm. In the morning, Saidabad received the most rain, at 3.3 mm. The city's maximum temperature was 24.2 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature was 22 degrees Celsius. The city will continue to have a thick cloud cover for a few more days, as per IMD reports.
The Telangana State Development Planning Society predicted that most areas of the city will receive up to 2.5 mm of rain on Friday. In the meanwhile, many districts are experiencing light to moderate rainfall. Suryapet, Rangareddy, Nagarkurnool, and Nalgonda districts received up to 5.8 mm of rain on Friday. Suryapet's Thungathurthi received the most rain, at 8.3 mm.
