IMD Forecasts 3 Days Rainfall in These Telangana Districts

Bye-bye hot, sunny days in Telangana. Denizens in the state are enjoying the cool breeze and rain since Monday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain and thunderstorms for the next three days—Thursday to Friday, in a few districts of Telangana, including Hyderabad.

The districts in which IMDb warned of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30- 40 kmph) are Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), up until 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jainoor in Kumaram Bheem district had the highest rainfall in the state, with 73 mm, while Adilabad, Kamareddy, and Medchal Malkajgiri districts all had heavy rains.
