Hyderabad Traffic Restrictions For Ganesh Nimmajjanam on Sunday, Avoid These Roads

 - Sakshi Post

To ensure a smooth Ganesh immersion on Sunday, the Hyderabad City Police will impose traffic restrictions along the procession route. The restrictions will be in effect beginning Saturday night and will last until the procession concludes on Monday morning.

To avoid traffic jams, the police will monitor traffic using Google Maps. The main procession will begin from Keshavagiri and travel through Charminar to Tank Bund or NTR Marg.

The vehicles which are not carrying Ganesh idols will be diverted from the main procession route at several points. Only vehicles carrying Ganesh idols will be permitted from the Malakpet, Amberpet, Secunderabad, Charminar, Mehdipatnam, Masab Tank, and Ameerpet sides towards the Tank Bund, with a few exceptions on specific routes based on the flow of vehicles carrying Ganesh idols.

The colours code has been issued by the police to route the vehicles carrying Ganesh idols. To avoid traffic congestion, traffic police advised commuters to take alternate routes. During the procession's peak hours, city buses and those bound for districts will use alternate routes or be diverted.
