Delayed Monsoon To Hit Telangana Tomorrow, Light Rain Expected In Next 24 Hours

Hyderabad: An elusive southwest monsoon will likely hit Telangana on Wednesday. Predicting the onset of monsoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD said thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are expected to occur at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours.

According to the weatherman, 17 districts of Telangana will receive light to moderate rains tomorrow. The districts where the rain is expected are Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon,Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal.

Even though the monsoon has delayed this year, the Telangana state is expected to receive normal rainfall this season. The people of the state will heave a sigh of relief as the state is reeling under scorching summer and heatwave like conditions at some places.
