Dil Raju's Comments After Meeting with CM Revanth: Clarification on Fake News and Industry Support

After his meeting with Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy, film producer Dil Raju spoke off the record, addressing the misinformation circulating in various media outlets.
Raju clarified that several fake reports have been spreading after the meeting, claiming events that never took place. He expressed disappointment at how some media sources have falsely portrayed the discussions.
“The meeting with the Chief Minister was very positive and productive,” said Raju. “There was absolutely no negative aspect to it, not even 0.5 percent.”

He emphasized that the Chief Minister was very supportive of the film industry. "He is very much in favor of the industry and understands its significance," Raju added.
On the topic of ticket rates and benefit shows, Raju clarified that there was no discussion about these issues during the meeting. He also stated that police had not shown any videos related to incidents near the Sandhya Theater, which had been speculated in the media.
Addressing the issue of bouncers, Raju mentioned that the DGP had communicated to them that all security measures should be implemented with accountability, ensuring proper oversight.
The Chief Minister also suggested that efforts should be made to develop Hyderabad into a major hub for Hollywood film shoots, much like it is for the IT and pharmaceutical industries. Raju noted that the CM emphasized the equal importance of the film industry in Hyderabad's overall growth.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister expressed the need for celebrities to actively participate in social service initiatives and mentioned that the prestigious Gaddar Awards should be organized in collaboration with the Film Development Corporation (FDC).
Raju concluded by reaffirming the overall positive atmosphere of the meeting, stressing the government's supportive stance towards the growth and welfare of the film industry.
