Cyclone Gulab To Bring Heavy Rains To Hyderabad

Hyderabad is likely to witness heavy rain on September 27 and 28. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, "The cyclone moves towards south Chhattisgarh and its neighbouring areas. After it crosses, some areas of Telangana are likely to witness heavy rains for one or two days."

Due to Cyclone Gulab, light to moderate rains is expected at many places with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places for the next two days i.e., September 27 and September 28. Thereafter, light to moderate rains is expected at various places on September 29.

Heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural, Kamareddy district, and heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem, Asifabad, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Warangal (Urban), Jangaon, Yadadri, Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal, Malkajgiri, Siddipet, Sangareddy and Medak districts.

Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the Khammam, Suryapet, Vikarabad districts of Telangana.

Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning with wind speed 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at isolated places in many districts of Telangana.

Cloudy sky, light to moderate rain, thundershowers, and sometimes, heavy rain to occur in Hyderabad city.
