Congress Leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy Hints at Joining BJP
Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, who remains dissatisfied with the PCC leadership and had on several occasions criticised it, on Friday has indirectly hinted at joining the BJP.
"KCR is afraid of the BJP. KCR will be defeated in the next Assembly polls in the state. I would join a party which can defeat KCR. I will make an announcement very soon on my furture course of action," Rajagopal Reddy said.
Rajagopal Reddy had a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday, BJP leaders said.
The meeting has reportedly lasted for 45 minutes. The secret meeting between Amit Shah and Raj Gopal Reddy was believed to have been facilitated by Nishikant Dubey, an MP from Jharkhand.
Presently, Congress has 6 MLAs in 119 membered Telangana assembly including Rajagopal Reddy.
