Common Application for Congress Govt’s Six Guarantees Schemes

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has prepared an application form for the eligible beneficiaries for submitting it at the ‘Praja Palana’ (public administration program) commencing from tomorrow , December 28. Through Praja Palana, the government will identify the beneficiaries eligible for the six guarantees.

The form will be released by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday and it will be made available at village and ward meetings. The application is divided into two sections. The first section covers personal details of the applicant. The second focuses on information needed to determine eligibility for government welfare programs. 

You need to fill in personal details including full name (house owner), gender, caste, date of birth (as per Aadhaar card), Aadhaar number, mobile number, occupation, family member information, address, and ration card number in the first section of the application. A photo is required with the application. In the second section, the applicants will mention which government welfare schemes they want to apply for. 

According to sources, the common application forms will be delivered to all villages and wards by Wednesday evening. People who wish to avail the benefits of government schemes should fill them out before arriving at the ward and village meetings starting tomorrow. They should also attach xerox copies of their Aadhaar card and white ration card with the completed application forms. They must also sign to certify that all details provided in the application are accurate. After the submission of applications, the authorities will provide an acknowledgement receipt to the applicants. 

Information on details to be provided for each scheme: 

Mahalaxmi Scheme: Check this box (in the application form) if applying for the Rs. 2,500 financial assistance from the government.

Gas Cylinder Subsidy: Provide gas connection number, gas dealer name, and number of cylinders used per year to apply for Rs. 500 subsidized cylinder benefits.

Rythu Bharosa Scheme: For farmers assistance, the applicant should tick either the farmer or tenant farmer box. They should also provide the pattadar passbook number. Tenant farmers must submit details on land leased. Agricultural laborer should list employment guarantee card number. The applicant must specify if applying as farm owner, tenant farmer, or agricultural laborer.  

Indiramma Housing Scheme: Check box to apply for financial assistance to construct a new house if you’re homeless. If the family members of Telangana martyrs or activists want to apply for a 250-yard housing site, they must provide the martyr name, year, FIR number, and death certificate number. While the activists must mention the date, case number, and details related to any arrests during their participation in the Telangana movement.

Gruha Jyothi Scheme: Provide electricity meter number to apply for up to 200 units of free electricity per month.

Cheyuta Pension Scheme: Check box to apply for Rs. 4,000 monthly pension. Specify eligibility category (old age, toddy workers, dialysis patients, beedi workers, single women, widows, handloom workers, HIV patients, filaria victims, toddy tappers). Applicants with disabilities must provide SADAREM certificate number to apply for Rs. 6,000 monthly pension.
