Close Shave for Telangana Minister Errabelli, MP Kavitha as Chopper Runs Out of Fuel
Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and BRS MP Kavitha Maloth had a narrow escape when the helicopter they were travelling in ran out of fuel midair on Sunday.
The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on a helipad of Yadagirigutta temple city. The chopper remained at Peddagutta for 20 minutes while the pilot managed to get fuel transported to the location in a van. Later, both the leaders continued their journey and safely landed in Hyderabad.
The Minister and the Lok Sabha MP were returning from Mahabubabad district after visiting a 170 MLD water treatment plant. The BRS government is fulfilling its promise to provide potable water to every household in the district and the water treatment plant is expected to provide safe drinking water to approximately 1.7 million residents in Mahabubabad and neighbouring Khammam districts.
