Cashless Treatment for Veterans and Dependents
Over 90,000 Beneficiaries to Receive Medical Treatment
In a welcome development that makes it easier for military, defence veterans and their families to get healthcare, AIIMS Bibinagar and the ECHS (Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Hyderabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday.
This agreement, led by the ECHS Regional Centre at the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area headquarters, will allow over 90,000 beneficiaries to receive medical treatment without having to pay upfront or worry about limits.
Brigadier K. Somashankar, Station Commander of HQ Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, Colonel Vikram Saini, Director of ECHS RC, along with Prof. Vikas Bhatia, executive director, and Dr. Bipin P. Varghese, deputy director, from AIIMS Bibinagar were present at the signing ceremony.
