3-member Enquiry Committee to Probe Bairamalguda Flyover Collapse: KTR
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao visited the KIMS Hospital to meet those who were injured in the Bairamalguda flyover collapse on Wednesday morning. The Minister met the injured persons and inquired about their well-being.
The minister assured them that the Telangana government will bear their treatment expenses. He was accompanied by Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, LB Nagar MLA Sudhir Reddy, Special Chief Secretary of the Municipal Department Arvind Kumar, and other officials.
KTR termed the flyover incident as unfortunate and said the municipal administration department will thoroughly investigate the accident.
“If any evidence of negligence on the part of the working agency emerges, strict action would be taken,” KTR said.
He also said a comprehensive inquiry will be conducted by a three member internal enquiry committee headed by Engineer-in-chief of GHMC and by JNTU University, to find out the actual cause of mishap.
